Our first Innovation Roundtable of the summer had a fantastic turn out on Thursday June 29th at Cafe Gelato in Quincy, MA.
Entrepreneurs, business owners, and creative thinkers showed up to talk all things innovation. Attendees came from all backgrounds, including from East and West Africa, but all had one goal in common – to make a difference.
South Shore Innovation founder, Eric Braun, said: “Our mission is to support entrepreneurs outside of the major cities, like Quincy, Braintree and the South Shore of Boston. We’re excited at starting up Innovation Roundtables again as a means to discuss relevant topics for startups and to help entrepreneurs connect to needed services and other like-minded thinkers and doers.”
Among the roundtable topics was a discussion on location necessities for businesses, where participants debated the importance of magnitude, proximity to a major city and public transport. Technology was also a prominent topic, particularly in its advances in marketing and 360 degree cameras.
Everyone was open to the floor at the roundtable and attendees were eager to both hear advice and give advice on how to take a business to the next level.
South Shore Innovation Roundtable takes place every Thursday from 8am to 10am. Drop in when you can. At the moment, we are meeting at the cool new Cafe Gelato behind the West of Chestnut apartments.
South Shore Innovation events are meant to be inclusive to all. Instead of going it alone, stop by and let us help you navigate your entrepreneurial journey.
